Binta Vann is the Chief Marketing Officer at NPower, and is responsible for brand raising, public relations, and both internal and external marketing and communications. She is also the executive steward of NPower’s Command Shift Coalition, an advocacy initiative focused on advancing more women of color into tech. After a successful corporate career, Binta transitioned to the nonprofit sector, joining BRIC, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit, as the Director of Marketing and Communications, and overseeing promotions of arts and media programs. Binta holds a B.A. in English Literature/Women Studies from Spelman College and an MBA in Marketing Strategy/Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business.
Binta represented NPower in the Summer 2023 Nonprofit and Public Interest Fellowship.
